If you’ve ever wondered how to cook a spaghetti squash, you’ve come to the proper place. Let me present you how with this phase-by-phase tutorial!

You’ll have ready-to-consume spaghetti squash on the table in less than hour.

It all starts by halving your squash and scooping out your seeds, which I enjoy to do with an ice cream scoop for efficiency.

Then, it’s into the oven to roast. You can either go for an oil-free of charge edition with some water added to the pan for moisture, or – my preferred – brush the inside with a little oil and sprinkle of salt and roast in a 400-degree oven for 45 minutes or until finally fork tender.

Then it’s the entertaining portion! Use a fork to make “spaghetti noodles” out of the squash, at which point it’s ready to get pleasure from with a small olive oil, vegan parmesan cheese, and sprinkle of salt and fresh herbs, Simple Vegan Pesto, or red sauce!

Great recipe, straightforward and effortless to modify as essential (for a lot more moist or far more crunch). It’s my go-to! It’s so great with just a tad of butter mixed in at the end soon after scraping out with a fork, and some fresh black pepper. Yum! I’ve served various veg meatballs on leading with marinara sauces, but personally I like it ideal plain as a side! Just some butter and pepper.

I cook it in the morning both in the more than or microwave. “String” it into a casserole and allow cool so moisture comes out. Reheat prior to placing my spaghetti sauce on it. Combine in a wee butter and garlic w/ s & p. Scrumptious, that’s how my husband prefers it and extremely minimal carb. Then you don’t feel poor obtaining a piece of crusty bread and salad with it. Yum

Loved it! Created spaghetti for the rest of the family members and manufactured this for myself. Topped it with some ground Turkey. Tasty! Didn’t feel like I was missing out at all!

I created this last night following your directions despite the fact that I utilised grape seed garlic infused oil with a tiny salt and it was tasty. It wasn’t as spaghetti like but that could have been because I’ve had it a couple of days. I’m consuming the other half with a marinara sauce this evening. Thanks for your tasty support

I cook mine in the microwave face up with a tiny water in it. For about 10-12 minutes on high.

I followed the guidelines to cut the squash. I used EVOO and a pinch of sea salt. I baked them in a 400 degree oven, minimize side down, for fifty five minutes. It was scrumptious.

Straightforward and scrumptious. Our dinner was unexpectedly delayed, so it cooked an additional 45 minutes. Other than blackening the best edge of the squash (which I had oiled and positioned facedown on foil), it survived the wait very well.

Just include spaghetti sauce and eat! Yum.

This was my initial spaghetti squash encounter. I created it specifically as directed and then sprinkled it with a bit of oregano, pepper and parmesan cheese right after shredding. Delicious!

I’ve used this recipe many instances, operates wonderful but as other individuals have mentioned I believe a great deal has to do with the personal squash. Recently I have been making a “taco squash” Even though the squash is baking, I fry up some reduce up onion, bell pepper (whatever colour you like) and jalapeno pepper, then brown some lean ground turkey in this mixture (like taco filling). Also include Taco seasoning to taste/salt and pepper (Trader Joe’s has a great taco seasoning in tiny packets referred to as TACO Combine). I use about 1/two packet. Then when the squash is done, I scrape the inside retaining the “noodles” in their squash boats, leading with a pile of the cooked meat, cover with shredded mexican cheeses and then place back in the oven at 350 for about ten minutes or when the cheese is all yummy and gooey! Serve with salsa, sour cream and cilantro! Delish! A single large squash can feed 4 people, just minimize into quarters following baked (prior to including the meat combine), use fork to make the noodles and bake with cheese. Fantastic as leftovers also.
